About Us

Ideal Carpentry is a small family owned business that was opened by James and Sarah Hurlburt in 2008 with the mission of providing quality and honest carpentry and remodel work to Tacoma and the surrounding areas. James has over 13 years of experience in the construction field and takes great pride in providing excellent remodeling service to his customers. James and Sarah have been married 8 years and have 3 little boys. When not working James and Sarah enjoy gardening and exploring the outdoors as a family.
